Excelenta pentru marketing in turism, 2010
Pe 15 martie 2010 a avut loc la Londra Travel Marketing Awards, cel mai cunoscut eveniment ce recunoaste, la nivel mondial, excelenta in materie de marketing in industria turismului. Organizat de Chartered Institute of Marketing's Travel Industry Group, evenimentul are ca scop recunoasterea si cresterea standardelor de marketing in industria turismului. Cele 20 de categorii au inclus cea mai buna campanie de social media, cea mai buna brosura, cea mai buna campanie de PR precum si numeroase premii pentru diverse forme de advertising.
11 din cele 26 de premii din acest an au fost castigate de birouri de turism ce prezinta ce este nou si interesant la nivel local si au demonstrat ca pot realiza lucruri marete chiar si cu bugete mici. Iar marele castigator... a fost/este Tourism Queensland cu deja binecunoscuta campanie Best Job in the World.
